C.A.P.E. Theater (Craft, Appreciation, Performance and Education) began in the spring of 2004 with a group of local people wanting to bring theater opportunities and education to the Golden Isles. The founding member created the theater's motto of:
"The C.A.P.E. (Craft, Appreciation, Performance, Education) Theater is a not-for-profit organization whose focus is to provide a well-rounded education to the community of
Glynn
County and its surrounding areas in theater performance, appreciation and craft. Through design, creation and performance which offers a healthy and wholesome environment for people to experience theater and a place to offer their gifts to the community."
