Andy & Norman are two young men using their apartment as a publishing office for a "protest" magazine.  Sophie, an all-American girl, moves into an apartment down the hall. After a neighborly visit, her friendliness and charm leave Norman hopelessly smitten.  His love develops into a determined madness, with the humor of it heightened by her frantic rejection of him.  Meanwhile, his partner, Andy, is fielding calls from the irate printer who wants to collect the money due to him, and distracting the landlady from thoughts of back rent with motorcycle rides and surfing expeditions.   Our heroine, Sophie, soon discovers that her real source of annoyance is that the wrong man is pressing his attentions on her.  Will the situation reverse in time? Will the first edition get out?  One thing is for sure, the audience will leave charmed by this wonderful tale, a chuckle on their lips and love in their hearts for this wonderful play by Neil Simon!
